The short version
We need someone who can help us get the word out. Own our content marketing, grow both brands on LinkedIn and beyond, and figure out how a tiny team can punch above its weight.
We're building Kunnus, the compliance platform that every connected product manufacturer in Europe is going to need before CRA enforcement kicks in (December 2027). SBOMs, vulnerability tracking, controls, audit-readiness, all in one platform. We're a small, bootstrapped startup. Alongside Kunnus we run a tech consultancy, Think Ahead Technologies.
What you'll actually do
You won't just schedule posts someone else wrote. You'll create content yourself and have a real say in where we're heading with our marketing.
On any given week you'll:
- Write and publish LinkedIn content for our personal profiles and the Kunnus and Think Ahead company pages, from CRA thought leadership to authentic startup storytelling
- Take photos, design graphics, produce short-form visual content for social media and our website
- Write blog articles and contribute to newsletters
- Track what works and what doesn't. Analyze how our content performs and adjust the strategy accordingly
- Get hands-on with SEO and GEO so our content actually gets found, in traditional search and in AI-driven discovery
- Design marketing collateral like flyers, one-pagers, pitch decks, and trade fair materials
- Research new channels and figure out how we can realistically run them with our small team
- Support lead nurture, trade fair outreach, and help us make smart decisions about our marketing budget
You're probably a good fit if
- You're studying advertising, marketing communications, or a related field
- You can write well in both German and English. Clear B2B content, not corporate filler
- You're comfortable with LinkedIn and understand how organic B2B content works there
- You have a good eye for design and can create clean materials (Canva, Figma, PowerPoint, we're not picky about the tool)
- You work independently and would rather suggest a better approach than wait to be told what to do
- AI tools don't scare you, and you're willing to get into the technical side of things when SEO or GEO requires it
- You've probably never heard of the EU Cyber Resilience Act, and that's fine. But you should be the kind of person who can get into a new topic and find it genuinely interesting
You'll thrive here if
- You want to build a brand, not just post on behalf of one
- You like small teams where your ideas go live the same week, not the same quarter
- You'd rather learn by doing than by watching someone else do it
- You care about what the numbers say and use them to get better, not just to report
What you'll work with
— and we're open to other tools when they work better for you.
What we offer
- 15–20 flexible hours per week that work around your university schedule
- Remote-friendly with a home base in Stuttgart
- Direct collaboration with the founder. No middle layers, no politics
- Real startup experience in a regulated B2B niche. The kind that's hard to get in a lecture hall
What we don't offer
- A big marketing department to lean on
- A polished brand playbook with every guideline figured out
- Tasks that repeat the same way every week
Kunnus is a product of Think Ahead Technologies GmbH. We're based in Stuttgart and building the infrastructure for EU CRA compliance — for the manufacturers, OEMs, and software vendors who need it most.

Frequently asked
What else you might want to know.
How many hours per week do I work and how flexible is it?
15 to 20 hours per week, fully flexible around your class schedule. During exam weeks you can dial down to 10 hours, during semester breaks you can do more — as long as we plan it together in advance. There are no fixed office hours, you work when it suits you.
What does the application process look like?
Send a short email to jobs@think-ahead.tech with something you've created and you're proud of (a LinkedIn post, a campaign, a blog article, a design piece — anything works). No classic cover letter needed. We reply within a week, then a casual chat (45 minutes) with Maximilian or Waldemar, a small practical exercise (no pitch marathon), and a meeting with the team. Two to three weeks total.
Do I need to relocate to Stuttgart?
No. Remote-friendly means you work where you're most productive. We'd love to see you in our Stuttgart office (Sophienstraße 32) every now and then — maybe once a month for strategy, brainstorming, or team events. You should, however, be enrolled at a German university, since working student contracts are tied to student status in Germany.
What experience are you looking for?
You don't need five completed internships on your CV. What matters more is that you genuinely enjoy writing, have a feel for language and design, and have already published something yourself — whether that's a student magazine, your own blog, LinkedIn, or a reel for a club project. We'll teach you the B2B and CRA context.
What is GEO and why is it in the job description?
GEO stands for Generative Engine Optimization. Just like SEO optimizes content for traditional search engines, GEO optimizes content so it shows up in AI-generated answers from tools like ChatGPT, Claude, or Perplexity. It's relatively new, nobody has it perfectly figured out — and that's exactly why we want someone willing to dig in and learn alongside us.
Do you offer a fixed salary or hourly rate?
We pay a competitive working-student hourly rate, well above minimum wage. Specific numbers we discuss individually in the first conversation — depending on experience and which tasks you'll take on.
Will this turn into a full-time role later?
It might, but we're not promising anything. We're just starting to build out the marketing team. If you do well and the collaboration clicks, a full-time role after graduation would be a very realistic option — but we want to be honest and not guarantee something we can't guarantee.
