Applying & working with us
Send a short email to jobs@think-ahead.tech with something you're proud of — code, a repo, a system you've built. No classic cover letter needed. We typically reply within a week and then walk you through two or three conversations that all dig into real problems from our stack.
We're remote-friendly. That means you work where you're most productive but come into our Stuttgart office (Sophienstraße 32) one or two days per quarter for strategy, onboarding, and team events. German tax residency is required, since we hire via a German GmbH.
We're mainly hiring at senior level for Kunnus right now, but we've had working students in the past with strong open-source backgrounds. If you have a specific project you want to work on with us, write to jobs@think-ahead.tech anyway.
Direct collaboration with founders, co-ownership of product decisions, open-source work as part of your reputation, varied consulting exposure, flexible hours, equipment of your choice, annual learning budget, and no bullshit reporting. Specific salaries we discuss individually based on experience and market level.
We communicate internally in German and English. Code, commit messages, architecture documentation, and pull requests are in English. With clients we speak German or English depending on location. You should be fluent in both.
